KELP EXTRACT

Kelp is large, brown seaweed that grows in shallow, nutrient rich saltwater near coastal fronts around the world.  Kelp is nutrient dense and rich in vitamins, minerals and trace minerals, because it absorbs nutrients from its marine environment, and is therefore believed to strengthen hair and prevent breakages.   Kelp is high in antioxidants, including carotenoids and flavonoids, which fight against scalp-damaging free radicals.  Further, kelp helps to oxygenate the scalp and hair.  Kelp also contributes to our products distinctive color.
