Bay Laurel Oil
Bay Laurel essential oil is derived from the Bay Laurel tree, an evergreen shrub indigenous to the Mediterranean and Black Sea region, though it is mostly cultivated nowadays in Europe. In ancient times it was widely believed that the tree contained magical powers, capable of warding off evil and diseases. Both the Greeks and Romans regarded the bay laurel leaves to be highly sacred and valuable symbolizing victory and high status and having potent medicinal properties. The antibacterial and antiseptic properties of bay laurel oil, is useful in killing bacteria and pathogens and preventing scalp infections from turning septic.
